LED Neon Flex replaces traditional glass neon with a flexible, durable, and energy-efficient silicone-based alternative. It creates the classic neon glow effect with even light distribution, making it perfect for signage, architectural outlines, bridges, building facades, and decorative landscape lighting.
What is LED Neon Flex?
LED Neon Flex is a flexible LED light encased in a UV-resistant silicone or PVC housing that mimics the appearance of traditional glass neon tubes. Inside, an SMD or COB LED strip provides even illumination, while the diffused silicone body creates a smooth, continuous glow without visible LED dots.
Unlike fragile glass neon, LED Neon Flex is shatterproof, bendable, cuttable, and operates at safe low voltage (DC 12V/24V). It uses up to 70% less energy than glass neon and lasts 5x longer.

Most PopularTop-emitting neon flex directs light upward (perpendicular to the mounting surface), creating a classic neon sign effect. LED Neon Flex Installation Guide
Key considerations for installing LED Neon Flex in engineering projects:
- Mounting method — Use aluminum mounting clips or channels for secure, even installation. Stainless steel clips for outdoor use
- Cutting & joining — Cut at marked points only. Use waterproof connectors for outdoor splicing. Re-seal cut ends with silicone end caps
- Minimum bend radius — Never bend tighter than the specified minimum. For tight corners, use corner connectors instead of forcing the neon
- Power supply — Calculate total wattage and add 20% safety margin. Use Meanwell HLG series for outdoor projects
