Product Overview
The Senfey ES-NEON-SIGN-01 is a single-color silicone LED neon strip built for coves and reveals where the aperture is open to view and visible dots would give the fixture away. The silicone body is extruded around the emitter row rather than being a sleeve bonded over a bare PCB, so the diffuser cannot peel off the board when an installer pulls the strip through a channel or twists it into a return. The frosted top face merges the emitters into one even band and holds that dotless read at close viewing distance. Silicone also stays flexible in cold rooms and unheated plant spaces, where stiffer jackets harden and put load on the solder joints.
Best For — Which Projects This Fits
Specify this silicone LED neon strip when the brief needs a dot-free line that survives humidity, routine cleaning, and repeated handling on site.
Hotel cove and cornice lighting. The 6 × 12 mm section seats into a 10 mm channel with roughly 2 mm clearance each side, so crews place it by hand instead of forcing it in and stressing the silicone. Low-voltage DC keeps the drop predictable across the 4–6 m perimeter runs typical of guest rooms. Our restaurant and bar ambient lighting project shows how the diffused face reads against stone.
Restaurant, bar, and retail trim. The sealed jacket takes a wipe-down with water and mild detergent, so front-of-house cleaning routines do not open up the fixture at the seams.
Covered outdoor lines. Facade recesses, balcony undersides, and canopy edges, where splash and wind-driven rain reach the strip but standing water does not.
Curved reveals and signage outlines. Side-bend geometry follows a 40 mm radius on the flat plane, so the emitter line stays straight through the curve instead of kinking at the bend.
Not For — When to Ask Us for a Different SKU
Do not specify it where the lighting has to change color or run pixel effects. This is a fixed single-color line with no data channel, so no controller can address it. For color-changing coves and bar fronts, use the RGB silicone neon strip instead.
Do not specify it for submerged pool coping, in-ground slots, or fully exposed facades with no soffit above. Splash and rain resistance is not the same as immersion rating, and a strip sitting in standing water will eventually wick at the cut ends. Our IP67 outdoor neon strip is the correct step up for permanently exposed runs.
Check long perimeters with us before you draft the run schedule. Past roughly 10 m on a single feed the far end reads dimmer than the near end, so those layouts need mid-point injection or a 24V equivalent.
Customization & Inquiry
Runs are cut to your project lengths, end-capped, and pre-wired with the connector your driver expects, so a hotel floor can be issued as numbered pieces instead of full reels for site crews to cut and reseal themselves. Color temperature is set per production batch. The rest of the profiles we extrude are on the LED neon flex range page.
To size a system for you, send us:
- Total linear meters, and the longest single uninterrupted run
- Mounting method and environment (indoor cove, covered outdoor, or wet area)
- Requested CCT, plus any dimming or control system already on site
- Destination country and the certification your driver has to carry
Send Us Your Project Brief and a sales engineer will come back with driver sizing, a run schedule, and a sample plan.
