"We had one bad LED kill a whole 5m run on the last install. Better option?"
WS2815 (dual-signal redundant). If one LED dies, the signal bypasses it and the run continues. Costs marginally more than WS2812B but for show-critical installs it's the standard.
"Our DOP says the strip flickers on camera at 5000fps slow-mo. Can you spec something cleaner?"
1kHz+ PWM driver paired with high-refresh strip. We test PstLM ≤ 1 at the camera before shipping. Provide your camera spec at quote stage.
"Frame latency matters for our show sync. Whose fault is lag?"
Three places: media server (you), controller (us), strip refresh (us). Our pixel controllers are ≤ 8ms strip-to-photon at 30 fps. Send your media server brand — we'll match a tested-compatible controller.
"Touring rig — quick install / strike / hot-swap?"
Quick-connect lead-in connectors, rack-mount driver shelves and patch sheets with labelled bundles. Strike-to-pack averages 40% faster than soldered installs.
"What lead time for a custom show install?"
Stock-spec pixel strip 7–10 days. Custom cut, labelled and patch-tested 14–21 days. Rush production for tour dates: 7 days at premium.
