The Senfey ES-PA-12085A tops our 12V desktop adapter range — the SKU we move to once a 60W driver runs out of headroom. It carries a high-density reel outright: 5 m of 12V 14.4 W/m strip at 80% de-rating. This chassis alone gets an over-temperature cut-out, because 96W sustained puts real heat into a sealed case — the failure mode on undersized adapters is thermal, not electrical. Universal 100–240V AC input covers EU / US / UK / AU on one plug-head kit.

That makes it the driver for full high-density joinery packages where a whole kitchen or wardrobe run sits on one circuit (cabinet strip installations), and for distributor kit-boxes that ship a 14.4 W/m reel with a matched adapter rather than making the installer size it on site (wholesale supply orders). Not For — When to Ask Us for a Different SKU
Oversized for short accent work — a single drawer, a mirror surround, a 1–2 m sample. The case is too deep to hide in small joinery voids, so step down to the 12W, 24W or 36W adapter. Wrong bus for 24V, RGB / RGBW / RGBCW or 5V addressable strip: 12V constant-voltage only. IP20 dry-indoor housing, so outdoor signage or a wet cove needs a sealed driver — ask what we can supply for that circuit. Non-dimmable: for 0-10V, DALI or Triac control specify a dimmable driver, or put a PWM dimmer such as our inline single-colour dimmer downstream. At 8A, any run past 5 m wants mid-point re-injection and 18 AWG feeder, or the far end drifts warm.
