Product Overview
Senfey’s ES-NEON-SIGN-03 is the PVC-jacketed outdoor neon strip in our LED neon range, a 6 × 8 mm section for exterior line-lighting. Two things define it. The jacket is extruded PVC heat-fused to the top optic, so there is no glue seam to open under thermal cycling, and the emitting face reads as a continuous line rather than a row of dots. And the section is small: at 8 mm tall it sits inside a facade reveal or a fascia return instead of standing off it, which is what makes the lit line read as part of the building. It is also cuttable on site, in three-LED groups, so lengths are set out to the building instead of to the reel.
| Section | 6 × 8 mm; suits 8 mm outdoor channel with ~1 mm each side |
| Jacket | Extruded PVC, heat-fused to the optic; dotless emitting face |
| Cutting | Field-cuttable in three-LED groups |
| Colour | Fixed at the factory — one white temperature or one monochrome |
Best For — Which Projects This Fits
Facade and architectural linear. A reveal, a string course, a parapet edge or a soffit line, where the brief is one continuous lit line and the fitting itself should not be visible — the kind of elevation worked through in our outdoor facade projects.
Landscape and garden work. Planter edges, deck fascias, retaining walls, pergola beams — positions that take rain and splash but are not submerged, and where a sealed jacket matters more than the look of the extrusion.
Curved and outlined work. The section bends on its flat, following a radius in one plane, which covers most outline and border work. A shape that needs the line to turn edge-on, or to leave the plane altogether, has to be built as separate lengths with the joints designed in — send the geometry and we will tell you where they fall.
Not For — When to Ask Us for a Different SKU
Not for anything permanently underwater. IP67 is written for temporary immersion, not continuous — pool coping below the waterline, fountain basins and submerged accent detail all need a product rated for it, and the failure here is slow water ingress that shows up months after handover, not on the day. Ask us before assuming a wet detail qualifies.
Not for one long unbroken perimeter from a single feed. This runs at 12V, which is the practical limit on this SKU: a long run reads dimmer and warmer at the far end than at the driver, and no amount of driver headroom corrects it. The fix is either intermediate feeds along the run or a 24V product from the outdoor neon flex range.
Not for colour change. The colour is set at the factory and cannot be adjusted later, so any scene, sequence or pixel effect belongs to an RGB or addressable product in the same family.
Customization & Inquiry
We supply this cut to your lengths, end-capped and pre-wired with weatherproof leads made off to suit your driver position, so a run arrives ready to fix rather than needing to be made up on site.
What to send us in your enquiry:
- The longest unbroken run on the drawing. Feed positions and driver count follow from that one dimension, not from the project total.
- Geometry for any curve or outline, showing which way the line bends at each corner.
- Glued, clipped or channel-mounted, and how exposed the position is.
- Destination market, so driver certification is settled up front.
