The person using a dimmer after handover is usually not the person who installed it — it is a housekeeper, a shop assistant, a guest. Every key on the handset they do not need is a key that can leave the lighting in a state nobody asked for and nobody knows how to undo. Senfey’s ES-LC-DIM-015 is the 11-key RF dimmer for single-colour 12V and 24V LED strip, and the shorter keypad is the point of it: on, off, brighter, dimmer, a few fixed levels. It comes in 2A and 6A on one footprint, so a receiver is sized to the zone it serves instead of one large unit being fitted everywhere.

Best For — Which Projects This Fits
Derate to 80% as with any driver and the 2A carries about 38W at 24V, the 6A about 115W. On a high-output 14.4 W/m tape that is only 2.7 m against 8 m — which is why the two ratings exist, and why watts per metre has to come before the choice.
Millwork where the receiver disappears. RF passes through timber and painted board, so the receiver goes inside the carcass and no window is cut in a door for a sensor to see through. Our millwork projects are wired this way.
Rooms handed to staff who were never trained on them. A guest bedside, a treatment room, a small retail bay: what matters is that the handset cannot be used wrongly, not how many functions it advertises.
Small zones, sized as small zones. A 2A receiver buys no headroom the run will never use — which counts when a floor needs a dozen. Stocked with our dimmable COB range as the wireless option in both ratings.
Not For — When to Ask Us for a Different SKU
Where this one gets specified wrongly is the load, and in one direction: the 6A is not a large controller. Derated it holds roughly 8 m of 14.4 W/m tape at 24V, so a façade, an atrium or a long corridor passes it early — that wants a single high-current channel, and no RF accessory changes it, because a repeater extends signal range and does nothing whatever for current. Second, if the brief needs preset scenes or per-zone recall, the extra keys have to come from a larger handset; stripping the keypad down is the trade this SKU makes. On colour there is nothing to configure: one brightness channel, so a colour-changing, dual-white or pixel product is a different decoder. Keep the receiver clear of metal enclosures, which cut RF range badly. Housing is dry-indoor. Cut lengths rejoined into one zone should follow the connector guidance.
