Product Overview
The ES-COB-528-10MM-24V is Senfey’s high-output single-color COB strip on a wider 10 mm board. That extra width carries more copper than an 8 mm build, holding trace temperature down under sustained load so the strip pushes higher output per metre without accelerating LM-80 depreciation — the reason it survives enclosed profiles that cook a narrower board. At 528 LEDs per metre the phosphor line reads as one continuous luminous edge even with the diffuser close to the emitter. It belongs to Senfey’s COB LED strip family and mates with the same profiles as our 8 mm builds, provided the channel is at least 12 mm internal width.
Best For — Which Projects This Fits
- Long coves and perimeter ceilings fed from one end, where the alternative is breaking the run for mid-point injection.
- Hotel and corridor coves needing a brighter wash without moving to a double-row board or wider profile.
- Ceiling coffers where the fixture sits behind a deeper reveal or thicker diffuser and loses output to the optic.
- Schemes with a target illuminance to hit — our lumens per foot guide gives the figures per density step.
- Fit-outs already standardized on 0–10V, DALI or PWM dimming.
Not For — When to Ask Us for a Different SKU
This board needs a channel of at least 12 mm internal width. Do not specify it into 8 mm CNC millwork slots or tight 10 mm cabinet channels — it will not seat with adhesive clearance, and forcing it stresses the copper at the bend. Ask us for the narrower 8 mm build — our COB LED strip width guide compares the options — or send the section and we will confirm the fit. Do not use it outdoors, in wet coves or in cold-storage — the IP20 build has no jacket or potting. It is also the wrong choice for colour-change or scene-controlled work, which needs an RGB COB or an addressable pixel strip. And on short branch runs this density is working against you — tell us the bus layout and we will point you at the right one.
Customization & Inquiry
Because this density runs hotter than a low-density board, we size the order against your profile rather than shipping a generic reel: tell us the channel and we will confirm whether it sheds enough heat at your run length, and flag it if the run needs segmenting. Cut points follow your setting-out drawing, and the order ships from a single CCT bin. Tighter SDCM on request. To quote, send us: (1) total metres and the longest continuous run, (2) target CCT and any SDCM requirement, (3) profile / diffuser model or a section drawing, and (4) driver and dimming protocol.
