Project Overview
Senfey supplied the full lighting package for a new Pizza Club Neapol counter inside the Manufaktura shopping centre in Łódź, Poland — a 38 m² food-court tenancy combining brand signage, a sculptural ceiling pendant, and warm ambient accent wash over a feature brick wall. The brief from the branding contractor was simple: hit the chain’s signature coral red exactly, keep the install plug-and-play for a four-night fit-out window, and survive 14 hours a day of mall operating hours without service.

Project Challenges
1. Brand coral red — Pantone-accurate on first try
The Pizza Club Neapol chain runs a tightly controlled brand identity, with the signature coral red specified to a precise Pantone reference. A standard “red” neon flex from a catalogue would not have hit it — the LED phosphor and silicone diffuser tint both shift the apparent color. The shape and wordmark had to read as exact brand red against the warm brick backdrop, under both ambient food-court lighting and at night.
2. Custom CNC-bent signage shapes
The pizza-slice logo and wordmark required tightly curved neon segments traced to a vector drawing — including the dotted “topping” detail inside the slice, each one a separate short neon segment with its own end-cap.
3. Sculptural pendant — free-form 3D geometry
The amber pendant above the counter is a free-form 3D scribble of round neon flex, suspended on three near-invisible cables. The piece had to hold its shape under air-conditioning airflow and rising kitchen heat without sagging or distorting.
4. Four-night fit-out window
The mall granted the tenant only four overnight install sessions. No soldering or trimming could happen on site — every segment had to arrive pre-cut, pre-labelled, and ready to clip into the channel letter housings and pendant frame.
5. Two-zone dimming under one controller
The signage and ambient accent run on different scenes — bright signage with dimmer ambient for daytime, balanced low-light for evening. Both zones had to be driven from a single DMX decoder to keep the electrical riser tidy.
Product Highlights
1. Custom-tinted coral red, matched to brand Pantone
The SF-NEON-SF1612 coral red was tinted at the silicone extrusion stage to compensate for LED phosphor drift — measured against the client’s Pantone reference under D65 daylight and warm food-court ambient. Sample approval came back on the first round.
2. Pre-cut, pre-soldered, drawing-referenced segments
All 95 metres of wordmark neon and the 22 metres of slim arrow neon were shipped pre-cut to the signage vector, each segment numbered against the install drawing. The on-site crew used no cutting tools — clip in, plug in, done.
3. Anti-sag round neon for the sculptural pendant
SF-NEON-RD16 uses our reinforced anti-sag silicone formulation, holding the pendant’s 3D scribble geometry under continuous indoor thermal load — validated by our 1,000-hour suspended-load test.
4. CRI ≥ 95 COB ambient for accurate food color
The under-counter and brick-wall wash uses CRI ≥ 95 COB strip in 2700K warm white — pizzas, salads, and beverages photograph naturally without the typical orange-shift of low-CRI warm white strips.
5. Single 2-channel DMX decoder runs both zones
One SF-CTRL-DMX512-2CH drives the signage circuit on Channel 1 and the ambient COB on Channel 2 with independent 16-bit PWM curves — flicker-free even at the 8% evening setting, important for staff phone photography and customer reels.
Result
Fabrication closed in 22 days from drawing sign-off. On-site install happened across four consecutive overnights:
- Night 1: Brick feature wall + counter base build, COB ambient terminated
- Night 2: Wordmark and pizza-slice signage mounted and powered
- Night 3: Arrow callout neon + sculptural pendant suspension
- Night 4: DMX scene programming + final hand-off to operator
The counter opened with the mall’s spring relaunch and has logged zero lighting service calls in its first two months of trading. The contractor has since briefed Senfey on two additional Pizza Club Neapol counters scheduled for Wrocław and Poznań in the next quarter.
