The installation encompasses the building’s signature twisted facade perimeter lighting that accentuates its sculptural form at night, residential lobby and corridor cove lighting, full amenity floor systems including infinity pool, spa, and sky lounge, plus podium landscape integration with the adjacent Barangaroo Reserve parkland. Moreover, Senfey implemented smart LED lighting Casambi mesh control throughout 349 individual apartments, providing each resident with personal wireless lighting control via smartphone while maintaining building-wide management capability for the facilities team. Client Requirements & Challenge

The tower’s distinctive twisted geometry means each floor plate rotates incrementally from the one below — consequently requiring different facade strip lengths calculated individually for every single floor of the 71-story building. Sydney’s coastal winds frequently exceed 100 kilometers per hour at elevation, therefore demanding extreme mechanical fixing security for all components mounted at the building’s 275-meter maximum height. Furthermore, the smart LED lighting Casambi networks serving 349 individual apartments needed complete isolation from common area systems to prevent resident interactions while still allowing building manager override capability for maintenance and emergency scenarios. SAA and AS/NZS compliance documentation was mandatory for every component, with the certifying authority requiring witnessed testing of marine-grade brackets under simulated wind load conditions per AS1170.2 before approving the facade installation.
